I have 9 years of experience in teaching chemistry and physics at the high school level. Ever since I was a young child, my interest in Mathematics has been profound. Mathematics is much more than a class subject; I have interwoven mathematics as an integral (no pun intended) part of my life since I was a toddler. In High school I was frequently participating in Calculus competitions, at which I received two 1st prize awards and wide recognition. Talking with students and analyzing their work samples determines their needs. I ask students to complete a "multiple intelligence" survey to determine their learning strengths. In designing delivery of services I incorporate specific strategies to complement their learning styles.
