Ever since I was a young child, my interest in Mathematics has been profound. Mathematics is much more than a class subject; I have interwoven mathematics as an integral (no pun intended) part of my life since I was a toddler. In High school I was frequently participating in Calculus competitions, at which I received two 1st prize awards and wide recognition. I started private tutoring in 1980. I also was a home tutor for the Milton Public Schools. From 1985-1991 I was an instructional aide in a special needs class. From September 1991 to the present I have been a math instructional aide for learning disabled students at Milton High School. BTS was a program, sponsored by Roger Williams University at the time, which focused in assisting and encouraging students from low income families as well as minorities.
