I like teaching and also tutoring. I am considerate and patient. I believe that each student has the potential to be an academic success.
In college, I was a Math Tutor in all the requisite courses and calculus. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Math and BS in Mechanical Engineering, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports, along with essays in many various areas of study. I have taught adult students in mathematics, mechanical assembly, and job skills.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love sharing what I know with my students, from elementary to college levels. I am patient, caring and flexible to work with my students’ individual needs. I believe that reading is the key for the young student to develop a variety of experience and thought. Therefore, I focus on encouraging students to gain exposure through reading a wide range of literature. Reading is also essential to being able to write well, which will open doors to future success. I emphasize practice with spelling, vocabulary, grammar, editing techniques and reading comprehension to prepare students to become good writers. I am thankful that I had some "hard" teachers and professors throughout my education. I have honestly grown to understand the importance of success and how nothing worth having comes easily. My approach to learning is straight forward. Who? What? When Where? How? Learning should be fun. However, I donot believe in holding anyones hands.
