I have had an ongoing desire to pursue a career in literacy and childhood education since receiving my Bachelor’s of Arts in Child Studies in 1995 from St. Joseph’s College. Recently, I graduated with a Master’s of Science in Childhood Education and Literacy from Long Island University at C.W. I worked as an in home private ABA therapist for two separate families, each with a child with autism. I worked individually with both children approximately 8-12 hours per week for over a year. I taught in a traditional ABA classroom with six students on the autism spectrum and all with other severe disabilities. I have also volunteered for many years as a bible school teacher.
I would have to say that my teaching style is flexibility.
