I love to tutor because it gives me an opportunity to help students build their skills and to teach them that they have the ability to learn anything,they want to learn and are willing to put their mind, determination and dedication into. I strongly believe that most if not all students are capable of learning anything they truely desire to learn, if they are willing to work hard and be determined to acquire the knowledge. I believe that this is possible with a teacher or tutor that has the skills and dedication to transfer their knowledge or drive for knowledge to their students.
My Teaching Style is to build a relationship with the student and their family. That is based on trust, confidence and a great deal of praise. Then the appropriate materials are gathered to address each area of need. Tests, charts, diagrams, folders, manipulatives, and many other electronic learning tools are used to track progress and build confidence in each student.
