Every teacher must recognize that individuals learn at their own pace. I try to begin at a pace that the student feels comfortable with while gradually challenging them to improve their performance. My technical background makes me a very visual person. I like to incorporate that in my instruction, using visual aides and examples. Placing student of varying levels together will aide the learning process. My three-step guide is learn—teach—perform. If a student has learned the material well enough to teach another, they are well on their way to master the subject.
I have worked in the private sector for over 28-years. During that time, I have earned Associates Degrees in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering Technology.
