A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent college graduate with a BA in Spanish and a BA in International Affairs, I possess current experiences from my studies in the United States, Europe and South America. Since attending college in Spain and Argentina I understand word usage and vocabulary differences within the Spanish language. Mixed with my superior Spanish skills I am able to discuss and explain political differences in Spanish and explain, on a historical level, how government has evolved internationally. As a past member of the Sacramento Jazz Society I also have a strong background in music both in practice and theory. Since high school, I have tutored others in Spanish, government, music and sports.

Prior to receiving my BA in Music, I worked for over twenty years in the medical and pharmaceutical field as a medical transcriptionist, medical biller/coder and pharmaceutical technician. I attended many courses to obtain a medical transcription license and pharmaceutical technician license in California. During my early college years, I tutored music students at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA and math students. I made a decision to return back to college to pursue a degree. I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BA in Music in 2007. I obtained a licensure to teach Music/K-8 in New Mexico. While attending college, I ran my own home music studio.
