I started my career in NYC teaching at Rikers Island Prison. I then taught at a Residential Treatment Center for Abused children, I received certification as an Administrator and worked as an Asst. Supt. Eventually I moved on to Smithtown NY, where I Supervised Reading teachers and Title 1 teachers. I was promoted to Asst.Supt for Special Ed. and Special Services. I have taught many subjects and sports throughout my life. I have always enjoyed teaching. My tutoring results are mirrored in the grades of my students. A child may not understand fractions but if you ask them to divide up a candy bar, they know how many pieces they want to split it in to and how many they want.
