I have found that positive reinforcement is the most effective way to encourage students to learn. I truly believe that each person has potential regardless of social, economic, or other factors. As a tutor, I feel it is my job to find a way to motivate that student to reach his/her potential. I have been working with chidlren and older students for a number of years: I started as a sport trainer and I continue as a language tutor. Every one has a different way of learning, to which has to correspond a certain way of teaching: this is extremely easy when teaching one-on-one. I believe in having fun while learning!
My teaching and tutoring experience began prior to completing the BA in Foreign Languages: I had been teaching and tutoring English and Latin to a few Italian students. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a very avid learner and have earned two degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: a BA in psychology and a JD. I taught science classes to children ages 4 - 12 during my law school career. I tutored elementary school students in basic math, grammar and science during my last two years of undergraduate work. During my first two years of undergraduate studies, I tutored college students in math and English
