I am a recent graduate of St. Bonaventure University. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. Although I do not have formal experience in teaching I have greatly enjoyed helping others with science in my undergraduate years. I have assisted non-science majors with various science topics, especially biology, when they asked for help and have found that many have had a much better understanding of the topics at hand after I've helped them. I do my best to adapt to how the student learns most efficiently. I also greatly encourage for the student to speak during tutoring sessions; rather than I do all the talking, I believe it is greatly beneficial for the student to partake in discussions and ask questions. As an Honor roll student, a student on the Dean's list I was lucky to have graduated early. I taught six graders through opelia. I have also tutored a master's Student through her Statistics. Currently tutoring a student via online on her Senior Algebra for her Liberal Arts degree. I will hold a BA degree come december of 2010.
