Experience Summary
I graduated a year early from high school which then led me to the local community college.At the community college, I found myself being president of a local club known as Earth Awareness.I then graduated with my Associates Degree in Biology with honors.Cornell University was the next stage in my life where I became part of a local honors group known as Alpha Zeta Fraternity.Although attending Cornell University was a great honor; I felt that it was too large of a school for me(300+ in some courses) which then led me to SUNY at Fredonia.I will now be graduating from SUNY Fredonia with my Bachelor of Science in Biology this December 2009.I plan on attending graduate school at Fredonia University and earning my Master of Science in Biology.
Teaching Style
I have a passion for teaching all ages. I am patient, caring and understanding. My goal is to do whatever I can to get the answers children/adults need. I feel that students learn best if they see/hear the information given in multiple ways. I feel that if the material is presented in a variety of ways it will help students learn the material better as opposed to just memorizing.
