A Little Bit About Me...

The bachelor degree that I earned in Business Management required a substantial academic effort on my part. Writing the essays, business evaluations and case studies was at times overwhelming to me but I was able to complete them in a satisfactory manner. The fact it was difficult helps me to project myself into the various viewpoints of my students so that I can impart to them a clearer understanding of the targeted subjects. A Little Bit About Me...

I never realized exactly why people go into teaching until I gained first hand experience. Teaching is one of the most rewarding things one can do as a profession. When I first started lab instructing, I immediately fell in love with it and did it as long as the university allowed me. I really enjoy teaching because I am passionate about the things that I am teaching and like to encourage passion for learning in others. I have a Master of Arts degree in English from Utah State University and have taught EFL overseas and within the US. Recently (from 07-08), I worked as a Math Tutor for challenged fifth graders and also for Kindergarteners part-time at Lincoln Elementary in Layton while my son was in pre-school. I am competent in elementary math and sincerely enjoy helping others to find the inherent beauty of numbers and what they can do.
I love kids - they are often sweet, funny, easily impressed and are a great audience.
