I completed and earned my Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in Mathematics from Marietta College in May 2012. I am currently attending John Carroll University to pursue my Masters degree. How I was trained to tutor students was to have them explain the material to me, instead of giving blatant answers, or if we don't know we could review the textbook, the notes, or look it up in another resource.
