I have taught Sunday School for 28 years in the kindergarten area. I have trained numerous PC users over the last ten years in general PC usage and various software packages. I have the leadership skills and can keep pace with the increasing speed of technology. I enjoy serving others and watching people increase their knowledge and skills levels. I have been an educator in the field of education for the past 21 years. Three of those years were spent in upper elementary in the area of Language Arts. Nine of those years were spent in a first grade classroom were reading with a phonics approach ws used in cross curricular subjects daily. The remainder of the years of service has been spent as an elementary principal or a superintendent. I am a firm believer that all children can learn and that each child has a individual method in which the can and will learn subject matter. My teaching style is has proven to work with many students. The most important issue with tutoring is to identify where the student has the most difficulty. There are many ways to present material, such as discussion, visual effects and hands-on. What I have learned is that many people can learn through more than one way of teaching. It is important to go at there pace and reinforce the information they have already learned. I love teaching and it shows in my presentation and my tone of voice.
