Experience Summary
I have been teaching since 1986. I have taught in the healthcare field through a Vocational Technical Institute, University and Private Education Center. I am currently applying for the Master's Program in Education at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. I hope to begin in the Fall. I have had experience teaching all levels of learners and have the patience to help anyone. I have tutored many people with anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, EKG and english courses. I believe in education and have the initiative to help anyone who needs assistance in the learning process.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is has proven to work with many students. The most important issue with tutoring is to identify where the student has the most difficulty. There are many ways to present material, such as discussion, visual effects and hands-on. What I have learned is that many people can learn through more than one way of teaching. It is important to go at there pace and reinforce the information they have already learned. I love teaching and it shows in my presentation and my tone of voice. A good educator will never withhold any information.
