Totally student-centered. I encourage rather than demand. I believe that it is my responsibility to find the teaching method which is most effective for a student to learn. Some learn by doing, some by reading, some by a creative process. The goal is to allow the student to understand and retain the material for his or her later practical application. I have a BA in History from UM, which, of course, entailed not just learning and researching history, but also tremendous amounts of writing papers on a myriad of topics. I am currently a law student at Wayne State, and so am also well versed in legal and social issues, as well as, once again, lots of writing and grammar.
