I have been teaching for six years at the Southwest Colorado Community College. I have taught basic mathematics to algebra III. (Math 121) I also have done quite a bit of tutoring with those in my class, and those not in my class (statistics and calculus). I have taught for the gateway to college program. It is a program that helps high school drop outs get their high school diplomas, and get a start in college. I have taught online for Colorado Community Colleges Online until they no longer needed basic math teachers. I am experienced with latex,and graphical equation editors. I have a program that will produce mml code. I have tutored a few individuals. Some improved greatly (he had to take the test twice to show he was not cheating), others did not improve at all. A Little Bit About Me...

While in New York, I worked for two years as a teacher of Science at a Junior High school in the Bronx. There I was awarded "Rookie-Teacher-of-the-Year." For one year, I also tutored after school to earn extra money. I have also taught in California and Santa Fe, NM. My passion is to be an International speaker on the topics of Metaphysics and Spirituality.
I believe it is best to offer guidance, and allow the student to go through the process of discovery. Things learned independently are much more prized and valuable. Of course, one cannot let them flounder too long so that discouragement sets in. And it is best to find out what they like, and to work with that as much as possible.
