My teaching schedule is classified in four groups : Voice-Culture Training (10 Min) Indian Notes (Swaras) syllables training (10-15 min), Taal-training or Indian beat/rhythms training Raga-Improvisation (raga introduction, aalap, singing composition and fast improvisation)
I have four years of music teaching experience in India and have been running an Indian music academy in Michigan since two years. I have been performing with several bands in Michigan and had once collaborated with India-Day event in 2012. I often represent lecture-demonstrations in schools with a percussionist Dan Piccolo. I have been performing Ghazal, Bhajan, and semi-classical forms like Thumri and dadra since childhood.

If I can get to know a child better, then I can get a better idea of how they learn, how much information they will absorb, what they will find interesting, and ultimately, this will impact their overall experience with me, with tutoring, and with their desire to continue learning through the venue of tutoring.
