Looking to get your student to catch up during the summer?

I am a recently graduated IB/AP student. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching children has been part of my life for many years, on many levels. I am currently a full time substitute teacher for Ann Arbor Public Schools. My past experience includes teaching Pre-K, preschool, directing educational camp programming, as well as substitute teaching for various grade levels. My education and experience has made working with children enjoyable and meaningful.

I begin by starting a conversation to break the ice. A child cannot beging learning from a stranger. If I can get to know a child better, then I can get a better idea of how they learn, how much information they will absorb, what they will find interesting, and ultimately, this will impact their overall experience with me, with tutoring, and with their desire to continue learning through the venue of tutoring.
