My comments on tutoring Saxophone : I am a classically trained saxophonist, fluent on alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone. I have been teaching private lessons for the past four years and am currently the baritone saxophonist for the Real Time Sax Quartet.

My teaching style is focussed around a very supportive environment. I reinforce every players individual strengths while consistently pushing students to face and conquer their deficiencies. I particularly enjoy teaching grades K-5 because they are very eager to learn and explore music through movement, Orff instruments, singing, and dancing. However, I enjoy teaching students who are serious about learning an instrument and want to progress. I believe that all children have a certain potential which can be achieved with perseverance.
As a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music, I was trained to be disciplined as a music educator and as a performer.
