A Little Bit About Me...

I have been tutoring ever since elementary school. Since I was the only one that knew how to read, I had to assist in the others' learning of Phonetic sounds. I've also tutored fellow classmates in middle school, high school, and college. If I don't know how to approach a certain topic, I ask for the assistance of some of my former professors because they know I'm trying to help other students.

I am an upcoming freshman at East Georgia State College. During high school, I took all Advanced Placement classes and was rewarded the highest 4-year average in Mathematics, Science, and Literature. Also, I was a dual-enrolled student at EGSC during my high school career, completing advanced level courses in Literature and Mathematics. I taught 8th through 10th grade at a Christian School in Ludowici. I taught every subject, but never a math course higher then Algebra 1.
I am a firm believer that the best way to learn varies from subject to subject. When I taught math my view was that the best way to teach was to break everything down into a step by step process and have the students memorize the process. Most other subjects can be learned through repitition, but math requires everything to be broken down.
