During my years as an undergraduate student I tutored many of my fellow classmates in biological sciences including but not limited to the following subject areas: genetics, molecular biology, general biology, human anatomy and physiology and writing intensive requirements. Currently I am a Molecular Biologist with the Agricultural Research Service and thus I am required to keep abreast of scientific knowledge and prepare scientific reports. I love teaching and working with all age groups. I am patient and easy going. I believe all children can learn, but each does so differently. My goal is to find the best way for each individual. This often entails different approaches at times. I provide mainly a constructivist and sometimes "expert" (focus on facts) approach to learning. However, I have found that a variety of styles may be needed to help a student learn.
