My teaching style would best be described as creative and flexible. I find it important to meet each student where they are at and figure out how to make the material make sense for that student. I find that many people are discouraged with English. The three biggest reasons are they have decided they can not understand the material they have been given to read; they have decided they can not write and they have concluded that what they have to say is not worth saying. They have various programmed learning booklets teaching all of the major subjects. You are actually more of a tutor than a teacher if you work with these booklets. I have experience in the four major areas of learning which are English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. I was with students from first through twelfth grade.
