A Little Bit About Me...

As a college graduate with my BA, I am very interested in continuing my education. I would like to tutor while I move forward towards my Masters Degree. I have a degree in creative writing but I have also taken many classes in technical writing and liturature classes and would feel helpful tutoring in those subjects. I have learned extensive writing skills through writing many, many papers and feel confident that I can teach others these skills. I also have learned how to closely read and critically look at liturature. I began tutoring in high school then in college, I majored in mathematics to pursue a career in teaching. My career took another direction yet I continued my passion for teaching others through tutoring at local non-profits. Last year, I taught 8th grade math at a local public middle school. I have recently graduated from Regis University. At Regis,along with institutional lessons, they taught me life lessons as well. I honorably graduated in May on 2009 with a BA in English and a minor in Business Administration. I was taught linguistically and grammatically in my studies at Regis. I understand easy mistakes one can make, and mistakes that are hard to see and understand by just reading a paragraph.
