As a college graduate with my BA, I am very interested in continuing my education. I would like to tutor while I move forward towards my Masters Degree. I have a degree in creative writing but I have also taken many classes in technical writing and liturature classes and would feel helpful tutoring in those subjects. I enjoy working with all learners - no matter the age, child or adult. I enjoy the challenge it brings of figuring out what teaching method works for each individual. In my experience, it takes ingenious and quick thinking to activate the learning potential for some learners. I believe that switching the types of teaching is effective to continue interest on behalf of the learner. In a math example, it is helpful to not work on problems for the entire time. My experience is as broad as it is varied. When I taught at Sylvan, I taught every course they needed me to. When I taught professionally, I taught teams of scientists and then instructional designers. I'm comfortable with all ages and backgrounds.
