My comments on tutoring English ESOL : I have successfully completed the Duval County ESOL training and I have taught ESOL students in high school.

As an engineer and I have taught planners and engineers how to use software to do calculations. I have taught GRE preparation for Kaplan (analytical and verbal reasoning) both to small classes of 3 to 7 students and individual tutoring. In 2009, I was accepted into the Educators of Change program by the Duval County School Board. I am now a certified teacher in Mathematics and Physics (grades 9-12). English ESOL is one of my top subjects! This is the subject of preference for me. I am TESOL certified, and have been teaching as an ESL/EFL teacher for 3 years in schools in China, and for another accumulated 3 years online as a tutor. I find ESL/EFL teaching to be fun and rewarding. Using my degree in English Literature, TESOL certification, and a large library of teaching materials I can provide fun and interesting classes which make learning English easier.

I extensively use music, video, flashcards and activities to make my clases fun and interesting. Discussion, and even newspaper articles can be supplemented as class materials. I thoroughly enjoy teaching all ages, and because of my wide variety of experiences, I am able to keep the learning activities varied, relevant, and interesting.
