Teaching Assistant at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. I was in charge of teaching 2 classes per semester, both Elementary and Intermediate classes. I was in charge of developing lesson plans, tests, quizzes, and all homework, as well as meeting with students in my office hours. I am a french engineering school graduate with a Master’s degree and a double major in mechanical and manufacturing engineering from the Center for Higher Industrial Studies in France. I have been working as an engineer for the past 3 years for a worldwide company. I first started as a mechanical engineer for 1 year and then I got the opportunity to work as a quality engineer for 2 years. While enrolled in the teacher certification program with Hendrix College, I mentored/tutored an eighth grader in various subjects. I very much enjoy teaching in a setting where the students feel comfortable enough to both learn and express themselves. I always find a higher success rate in the understanding and comprehension of the subject at hand under these circumstances. This applies to both my student teaching, tutoring as well as an instructor in the military.
