A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching Assistant at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. I was in charge of teaching 2 classes per semester, both Elementary and Intermediate classes. I was in charge of developing lesson plans, tests, quizzes, and all homework, as well as meeting with students in my office hours. French is a beautiful language and I love being able to teach it to others who want to learn. I studied abroad in France for 6 months and was able to visit again last year, I also keep in touch with my friends in France which allows me to keep my language skills fresh and up to date.

I very much enjoy teaching in a setting where the students feel comfortable enough to both learn and express themselves. I always find a higher success rate in the understanding and comprehension of the subject at hand under these circumstances. This applies to both my student teaching, tutoring as well as an instructor in the military. I believe that each person is different and has a unique way of learning and that there are several ways to cover one subject, ie visually, verbally and through activities, to ensure each student has an ability for understanding and comprehension.
