Math Can be Fun!

My teaching style is for the student to be methodical with their work and identify key words. I offer correction but also like to be patient to truly understand which part gives the student a struggle.
I have been tutoring in mathematics from basic elementary math to Calculus I for the last 10 years. Studying engineering showed me how meticulous I had to be with my study habits and I am now able to teach other students these same tips. Due to the diversity of educational needs, I have been able to teach Math, Social Studies, History, Marine Biology, Horticulture, Biology, English, and Literature. During the past several years I have home-schooled my daughter and a several studentsby referral.
I enjoy seeing the "Light Bulb" come on when a student grasps a concept. I tend to defer to the students learning style and teach to their need and understanding.
