As a proofreader with many years of experience, I correct texts for grammatical errors and can also make suggestions for improving legibility, etc. Although grammar is important, languages are acquired overwhelmingly by listening (60%) and speaking (30%), whereas only 5% each by reading and writing. I view myself more as a coach than a "teacher", using a modern didactic method also known as accelerated learning. Learning should be fun, otherwise, something is not right, and I always try to find out what that "something" is. In the past 30 years, languages have been my passion.
