A Little Bit About Me...

I would describe my teaching style as ecclectic. Students learn in different ways which enables me to employ all kinds of methods to tap into any particular learning style. For instance, I believe in old-fashioned memorization (math. facts) in addition to hands-on kind of learning. I have an ability to motivate kids to want to learn, which I believe is the key to a successful partnership. I love kids !
I spent my entire teaching career at Hammondsport Central School in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. In that time, I taught every level of every grade (7-12).
