It wasn't long before math was my favorite class and I changed my major. When I was in school I helped a lot of my classmates with calculus. Remote Tutoring in Physics, Math, & More

My approach to both physics and math is very concept oriented. I try to combat the 'shut up and calculate' approach that students often encounter in their schooling. Rather than expecting my students to quickly memorize and regurgitate information they barely understand, I expect students to actively engage with the material and to develop their own unique approach to problem solving. This means I am not the right tutor for students wanting me to just do their homework for them or cover a huge amount of material quickly. Sometimes understanding takes time, but I firmly believe that developing a problem-solving strategy is more valuable long term than simply getting the 'right' answer to a specific problem.
