College Algebra is one of my top subjects! I can teach any level of Algebra. It is my favorite subject.

I currently attend Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. I am twelve credit hours away from getting my Associate of Art Degree, and plan to transfer to a university to obtain my Bachelor's in Accouting. I am maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I work as a bank teller at the First: A National Banking Association. I also tutor Accounting and College Algebra on the weekend.

Because I am a very patient and detail oriented person, I feel it is best to adapt my teaching style to the student's learning style. I would first make that evaluation to determine how best to approach teaching the student. I enjoy using hands-on examples and Powerpoint presentations in teaching. I feel that one-on-one interaction will always help a child gain knowledge of a subject.
I have a BS in Environmental Science with a Chemistry minor. I also have a MS in Environmental/Soil Science. As a NASA scholar and Research Assistant, I taught undergraduate students Soil Science Lab Classes. I have tutored Elementary level reading and writing as a volunteer. I have also tutored Middle School level Math to several students. I am a substitute teacher in Louisiana and I am currently working on my teacher certification.

As a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I am eager to see students of this area excel in their studies. Fortunately, I was able to grasp the subjects of Mathematics and Chemistry, and this has allowed me to enjoy a successful career as a Chemical Engineer. I recognize the challenges that students face, especially in the areas of Mathematics and Chemistry, and I am confident that with hard work, they will be able to develop their skills and understanding of these subjects.
