Having homeschooled my children (eldest is attending a top 20 public university)and volunteering extensively in the school community, I have become familiar with a wide variety of learning styles. Because each student, young or old, responds to different learning stimuli (graphical or verbal) at diffrent rates, I always try to get to know my student first. I then try to tailor my tutoring to how they respond best and retain what they've learned. I have recently finished my first year of law school in the top 30% of the class.
