I have taught high school and middle school English, as well as one year of teaching at an alternative school. Additional experience would include substitute teaching, Boys and Girls Club instruction, being a Girl Scout leader, and Sunday school instruction. I also have some experience as a homebound teacher and tutor. I am currently working on my Master's Degree in English Literature at WKU and substitute teaching.

As a person I am patient, responsible, and encouraging. I enjoy being creative to help meet my students’ learning styles and needs, and I know how to prioritize learning tasks to help students focus.
