A Little Bit About Me...

Having been devoted to the welfare of children and families and valuing education highly throughout my life, I find tutoring a satisfying occupation. After vounteering my services for many years, I attained formal degrees in education, psychology, and counseling, with very high GPAs. I taught psychology and sociology for several years and have also tutored K-college individually and in groups for many years.
Recognizing that each person has his/her own learning style, I emphasize "application" of material learned. I have earned my BA in Religion from The College of William and Mary. I have tutored every year since 2004 in situations ranging from private tutoring of special needs students, tutoring under-privileged kids and gifted kids. I have experience with children with ADD/ADHD and learning disabilities and prefer special needs students, however any student who needs to or is willing to learn will be my joy to instruct.
