Chemistry is one of my top subjects! Currently, I am enrolled in AP Chemistry. I know general chemistry very well and many components of AP, including, but not limited to, stoichiometry, kinetics, gas laws, and thermochemistry.

Although I do not have much experience with regards to tutoring, I often help my fellow peers with their homework and tutor them on the things that they struggle on. I am a strong student, currently #1 in my class, with straight A's with enrollment in Advanced Placement classes. A Little Bit About Me...

I was a technical instructor for an oil/gas company for just over 5 years. We focused on competency based training along with ensuring skills would transfer into the workplace. Prior to that, I graduated from a highly technical private engineering school with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. The school was on a trimester schedule so that we could finish a normal 5 year degree in only 4 years so it was a highly demanding program. Math, Science, Writing, and Critical Thinking

During my time at Colorado College, I worked as a chemistry tutor helping my younger peers traverse the challenging General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry course loads. But because of CC's rigorous alternative schedule--where you take one class at a time, for one month each class--it's necessary to learn to pick up new concepts very quickly, I often found myself being asked for help in classes I myself was taking. I never minded this, because being forced to explain something is the best way to ensure your own understanding of the concept. Chemistry is one of my top subjects! I am applying to medical school in the summer of 2013, so I have had vast experience with many fields of chemistry. In college I have taken General Chemistry 1 and 2 with lab, Biochemistry, and Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 with lab. I also took and did well on the MCAT and therefore spent time studying for the Physical Sciences (which includes Chemistry) section of the test.

I have succeeded as a Pre-Med student and psychology major while playing for the University of Colorado D1 women’s volleyball team and thus developed excellent study skills.
