I began my college career admitted at age 17 to a competitive Bachelor of Nursing program at Boise State University. I took courses in Science, Math, Chemistry, Psychology and Health before I transferred to Brigham Young University-Idaho to pursue Horticulture. BYU-I has one of the top Horticulture programs in the country (as recognized by PLANET). I competed for BYU-I as one of the front most students in 2 years of PLANET competitions. I personally finished twelfth of all 900 students competing and helped take our team to both a 1st and 2nd place finish. I also worked as a tutor for the horticulture department assisting college students in courses such as Landscape Design, Bidding and Estimating and Computer Programs. I have had experience tutoring undergraduate level students with various levels of mathematics and accounting courses while at college from 2002-2006. I also have over 3 years of experience mentoring professional staffs on accounting job functions.
I believe I can be a good teacher as I have the necessary background and the experience. The fact that I like sharing knowledge would only add to my interest in a teaching opportunity. If I have a choice, I would prefer one-on-one type tutoring classes to group courses. My style of teaching is pretty basic. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate student, I have successfully tutored a number of undergraduate students. I received my BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Currently, I have 15 graduate semester hours including Advanced biochemistry, parasitology, Advanced botany, and Plant development. In addition, I have extensively learned proper laboratory research paper formatting. I have tutored Anatomy/Physiology, general chemistry, and pharmacology.
