A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate, I graduated in 3 years and will be going back to finish my engineering degree. I have a BS in Electronics Technology which required me to take Cal I,II,II, Applied Statics and Technical Math. I also have experience with Solid Works, C++, Computer Repair/Installation and Electronics. After school I've been tutoring other college students in Math and repairing computers in my spare time.
I just started tutoring but find that I enjoy helping people with Math and helping them understand the concepts. I'm easy to get along with and laid back. I like to let the student start the problem and see where they need help.

I began my college career admitted at age 17 to a competitive Bachelor of Nursing program at Boise State University. I took courses in Science, Math, Chemistry, Psychology and Health before I transferred to Brigham Young University-Idaho to pursue Horticulture. BYU-I has one of the top Horticulture programs in the country (as recognized by PLANET). I competed for BYU-I as one of the front most students in 2 years of PLANET competitions. I personally finished twelfth of all 900 students competing and helped take our team to both a 1st and 2nd place finish. My first tutoring experience was in my freshman year of college. I tutored basic college algebra and calculus. Having earned two bachelor degrees in both math and physics. I feel I have a good understanding of not only the theory but also the applications of math to science. Tutoring both privately and publicly has also increased my speaking and presentation abilities. I have also tutored test taking strategies for the SAT, ACT, and GRE. In my years tutoring I have tutored middle school through graduate level courses.
