A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children. When i was younger I had a job helping my aunt with her daycare business. I have five nieces and nephews, six siblings, two god children and one Daughter. I have always been a patient woman and Nurturing comes natural because I am a mother. I too, believe that all children can meet their potential. They all have to be in an calm secure environment. Children also have to feel comfortable around there peers and teacher in order to learn. My goal is to not only teach children, but also to help build character. Children are the future; they should be intelligent and be a good person.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently graduated from Virginia Tech where I majored in Biological Sciences. This included biology, physics, and chemistry as focus points. My tutoring experience has been volunteer work. Throughout my academic career I have always helped others, from explaining difficult concepts to peer reviewing papers in college. I have also been a substitute teacher at my local high school since 2007. I recently worked under a doctoral candidate on a research project about warblers. One duty was to train volunteers in all aspects of capturing and processing the birds. As you can see my tutoring experience comes from real life experiences which is shown in my tutoring style.
