Make impression in first 30 seconds. I believe total immersion is the ideal and best way to learn a language. Of course that's true. So that is how I will teach beginning with the alphabet, later using props and always encouraging the student in the target language while not allowing them to speak in their mother tongue.

Children's church is where a year of my experience comes from. I would guide a group of children during the service and would spend individual time with those who wanted to brush up on their reading and writing.
