Solve ALL your problems with a math tutor!

I generally work through an example while explaining. Then as the student works the problems, I instruct by asking prompting questions with decreasing frequency until the student can complete problems without any assistance.
While completing my degree, I worked in the math department as a tutor. I often had several students with various subjects simultaneously. It was a challenge to constantly switch topics, but I apparently did it so well that I almost had a regular class that showed up every time I was on duty. Several students told me that I explained things on a level they could understand as opposed to the high-level language the professor used. I have also done private tutoring since then.

Passionate Elementary Education Tutor

I love teaching and I love to see the spark in a child's eye when they finally understand a subject they have struggled with! I am a certified special education instructional support aide for an elementary school in northwest Fort Worth. During the school year, I work in Resource and Content Mastery with special education students that are in general education classes but need additional instruction in Reading, Math, and Language Arts. A Little Bit About Me...

As a business professional I was continually called upon to make presentations to corporate personnel, owners, propert management personnel, and other interested parties. I made these presentations interesting and informative by inserting relative humor and everyday experiences. I was often requested back. As an instructor post-secondary education I enjoyed teaching and applying humor and every day events to the learning process. As a full-time adjunct instructor I taught accounting, business administration, creative writing, ethics, and math. For four years I had a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience.
