As a graduate of Tennessee State University, I've been very driven to consistently purse excellence education. I ranked in the top 10% of my class upon graduation and during my tenure I worked within the schools substitute teaching programs. After graduation I became involved in my churches no child left behind program as tutor and I currently still tutor. I've run my own successful business and currently I am enrolling to pursue my Masters in Teaching and Masters in Education. I've tutored Mathematics, Sciences, English and History.

At the present time I am working at the University of Michigan as a Research Lab Specialist Lead. Beside research this position enables me to interact with students and teach them the biologic basic skills. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient. During my Ph.D. program I had the opportunity to teach at the European classes (ERASMUS)for college students. This position allowed me to teach to students from all over the world. I also had the chance to take care of children in high school as a mentor. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to the education field.
