I've studied science throughout my entire academic career. I don't any paid, professional tutoring experience. However, I have volunteered my services to family members and friends. During my sophomore year, I took Organic Chemistry and excelled. However, my friends were struggling. They hated me a bit for how easy it came to me. I decided to tutor them and help them with homework assignments and studying. They ended up doing very well on the exams, allowing them to secure a 3.0 or higher in the course. I also had to regular help my classmates out with more complex problems in Physics. I prefer a very laid back, informal environment when I teach. I can adapt very easily, and only require that my students respect me and try their best. Many times students are convinced that science is a subject too difficult to conquer, that they must just survive it, but science is all around us.
