During these years at Montgomery College I have volunteered for many interpreting opportunities. I have interpreted two movies for my professor, interpreted presentations lead by guest speakers at Montgomery College and I interpreted a musical called Breast In Show (October 2014). I love teaching sign language because it is a beautiful language that is easy for people to learn, especially children. Even babies can learn how to sign! I like to teach through repetition and practice. The only way to learn something is by learning the concept and working with it over and over again until it is stuck in your mind. I often achieve this with flashcards and organizing by colors. Colors can help categorize different concepts by associating aspects of a certain concept with one color, and aspects of another concept with a different color.

For art, I give direction, let students paint or do art however they want, then I help if needed. I give them pointers and tips for making their pieces better. Art is really how the artist sees it and what they like in the long run. In Sign language, I teach them songs to sign too from the radio and also teach words then becoming sentences.
