I am currently taking the English as a Secondary Language course at Benedict College so, I can be certified in teaching English across the world. In the summer of 2013 I worked at Lanier Technical College/ University of North Georgia as a ESOL Assistant Instructor. I spent my summer translating English to Spanish natives who wanted to obtain their citizenship. That's when I made my decision to go to school for that field. I began tutoring as a volunteer with the America Reads program in high school. I continued volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club during college. After an opportunity to assist a professor in administering a freshman course, I applied to teach high school in Pasco County. I taught world history and psychology for one year before returning to school for my Master of Arts degree in History. As a recent college graduate with a liberal arts education, my teaching style is very eclectic.
