In addition, I'm a native Portuguese speaker and am able to understand, speak and read, Spanish and French. I really enjoy tutoring students one on one better than teaching in the classroom, because of the one on one contact, because I have found it helps take the pressure off the stuent to facilitate learning. Also, by taking a short time to learn myself about the person's background, it helps me to better understand how to best remove any obstacles that may be standing in the way.
