I have earned a Bachelors Degree in History which has enabled me to gain understanding in many areas of sociology and geography. In addition, I'm a native Portuguese speaker and am able to understand, speak and read, Spanish and French. During the last 3 years, I have tutored students in Portuguese, Spanish and French and assisted elementary students with their homework assignments.
I enjoy teaching and working with all children. I have been a Substitute teacher in Hampden County, MA and most recently worked as a Counselor for a group home in which the children needed support on a daily basis with their schoolwork. What I have gained from these experiences is that any child can succeed with patience and with the right resources.
