After graduating from high school in 2003, I began to work as a substitute teacher in 2004 for Sheridan School District. I continued working for Sheridan School District as a substitute teacher until around 2008, when I was about to graduate from college. From the fall of 2003 until the end of the summer in 2006 I attended Arkansas State University, where I won first place in the 2003 Freshman Writing Competition. I transferred to Henderson State University in 2006 to finish my education. I graduated from Henderson State University with my Bachelors Degree in English in December of 2008. I will work with the children to fit their needs in the subject. My teaching style usually blends in with the child's learning ability. English and elementary skills are my best field. I had a college level english when I was in 8th grade. Math is an okay subject for elementary but I'm not the best at algrebra or higher. My spelling skills and writing skills are excellent. Like I have said before my total english level was a college level when I was in 8th grade. If you need help with your english or science it's a really good idea to come to me with it.

I have always written, and I have always loved doing it. The same goes for reading. I have tutored various class mates through college, and have also worked at a children's enrichment center (I am currently employed there) where I teach basic reading and writing. I am also currently editing a friends novel. I made the Dean's list two years in a row, graduated with the two highest literary awards under my belt, and I have been published in the Equinox and In My Lifetime. I am patient but firm. If a student isn't willing to put in a 100% effort then I will not waste my time. I have always gotten exemplary grades from anyone I've tutored. I teach each student differently, some are more visual, or auditory, or hands-on, and I adjust my methods to better benefit my students.
