I solve problems. I am a bioanalytical chemist and biomedical engineer. This profession requires using math, statistics, biology and chemistry at a high level on a daily basis as I develop products that improve healthcare. Professional Exam Prep and Subject Tutoring

During my time as Head Tutor at UNCA, regardless of department, I tutored over 200 students in mathematics and physics. Of those students, at least 80% saw an increase of at least one letter grade and at least 20% saw an increase by two letter grades. Many students I tutored in one subject came back to be for tutoring in the other. For many of my students I served as an invaluable mentor who guided them from their earliest days as a college freshman to the day the walked across the stage and earned their degree. I have been tutoring for over 10 years in all types of Math, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus etc. I have also been tutoring in Chemistry and Physics. A Little Bit About Me...

I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.
I have not taught anyone or tutored anyone for money. However, I would like to have the oppitunity to be able to tutor children or young adults on their way of the journey of life.
